YOUTH UNITED N2025 • How does it feel to be young here in Nuremberg and there in the global world? From the 20th to 25th of July 2019 the project Youth United N2025 gathered 50 participants from 12 partner cities and regions from Atlanta, Glasgow, Cracow, Danzig, Skopje, Montan and Klausen, Brasov, Antalya up to Shenzhen. Together they explored Nürnberg from a different, a young and international perspective. During the multifaceted programme, might this be excursions, discussions or workshops old contacts were rejuvenated and new ties were knot. Here, many new corporations of international youth and educational work were conceived. Many creative impulses and ideas emphasize the importance of international youth exchange between the partners. The goals and hopes of young people in Nuremberg and its partners all over the world shall be reflected in various projects up to 2025. Applying as capital of culture 2025 this project provides a young contribution to the international role of Nürnberg as city of peace and human rights. Youth United N2025 is a joint project of the Kreisjungendring Nürnberg-Stadt, the International Office as the Bidding Office Capital of Culture N2025.
